Sportsmanship

Each year, IAABO Board 152 selects a Men's and Woman's Basketball program as its recipient of the

Sportsmanship Award

The selection process is a relatively simple one.  The High School basketball programs that display consistent Sportsmanship on the court, provide accurate and professional scoring and timers, and treats officials with the utmost respect and courtesy they deserve, are nominated by the board members.  By a simple majority vote, the Men's and Women's programs are chosen, and presented with a plaque during half-time of their first home game in the successive season.

The list of eligible schools is here.  Make your nominations via email to Mike Collopy or Pat Morano, before the deadline of the February Meeting.
